Specializes in the endoscopic diagnosis of upper gastrointestinal tumors using image enhanced endoscopy, magnified endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound(EUS). Especially, he performs more than 500 EUS cases per year including EUS-guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) for pancreatic lesions as well as gastrointestinal lesions. In addition, he performs advanced endoscopic therapies including endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for early esophageal and gastric cancers. His role involves managing patients both in out-patients’ and in-patients’ settings and being an attending doctor performing many procedures.
