About Hospital

TMT is a non-profit organization specializing in the training of PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention), conducting training at Tokyo General Hospital. The Cardiovascular Intervention and Therapeutics Center at Tokyo General is headed by Dr. Toshiya Muramatsu, who is the administrative director of TMT.
The center is brand new, having finished construction in 2017, and is fully equipped with the latest devices and staffed by renowned and experienced physicians.

Credo / Mission

The Cardiovascular Intervention and Therapeutics Center performed over 1600 cases in 2017, of which over 500 were coronary interventional cases. It is staffed by 7 catheter specialists, and 2 arrythmia specialists and boasts 4 brand-new state-of-the-art cath labs, 4 CCU beds, and 38 cardiology beds. Training has been one of the emphasized activities, and an 8K monitor wirelessly connected to all the cath labs allow for concentrated and effective real-time discussion and education.
