About Hospital

Fujita Health University Hospital is the largest single medical facility in Japan with 1435 beds. As an advanced treatment hospital designated by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, we provide a safe and excellent medical care and dedicate ourselves to the education of outstanding health care professionals as well as promote research.

The new wing (Building A), opened in May 2015 featuring 13 floors and a basement in a fully quake-resistant structure, provides a wider range of medical care from primary care to highly advanced medical technology as a core disaster medical hospital, emergency and acute intensive care center, and designated cancer care hospital. With the expected increase of international patients, we have been designated as one of the 10 base hospitals in the country and have obtained the Japan Medical Services Accreditation for International Patients (JMIP).

We continue to endeavor to provide safe and outstanding medical care and contribute to society in the area of community health care.
